What is the difference between coaching & therapy ?

Therapy helps you change behavioral schemes, it works with the patient’s conscious experience and through directions helps them understand their dysfunctional unconscious mind & self towards improving their behavior. Therapy assumes that some human beings need the direction from an expert to understand & take control of their lives.

On the other hand, Coaching & your coach will enable an atmosphere where you can make the most out of your potential, work with your opportunity areas from present to future moving forward with a conscious mind. Coaching works with your positive traits, and encourages your decision making. Coaching assumes that every human being is naturally equipped to handle his/her own life into greater. Coaching starts with a written agreement on both parties to fully clarify what to expect from the process.

Will coaching make me dependent on my coach?

Coaching encourages the client to make decisions on his/her own and establish a plan with a time frame to achieve his/her goals. Coaching is very flexible as to moving into what the client really wants to deal with and at the pace he/she wants to do it. It will help you discover different paths to being successful in your life & work on your own.

How are the sessions handled?

Sessions can be handled on a face-to-face basis or via telephone calls/Skype or Zoom conversations. You can choose to use a combination of the options, according to your schedule and personal needs. Sessions are usually 50 minutes long.

What if I want to have sessions further apart or closer than on a weekly basis?

The scheduling of the sessions, with specific meeting days & time are agreed upon the initial coaching agreement during the first session. If the client needs a change from the original contract and needs to have a couple of sessions in a different planning, this can be done by scheduling it a week in advance.
